Shipping pallets may not be the most exciting of topics, but when it comes to tackling climate change they have a role to play too! Discover how NGO Change The Pallet are hoping to reduce carbon emissions from shipping and transportation of goods with a rather simple solution…
Climate Change Impacts on Kenya's Fishery-dependent communities
We know climate change is altering coral reef ecosystems, but how will these changes impact the human communities that depend on them for their livelihood?
A practical solution to detecting species range changes?
Detecting species range changes in the marine environment is difficult and expensive. For many species, assessment simply has not taken place.
Rivers and streams on the Greenland ice sheet a major contributing factor to global sea level rise

Studying the climate past
How can we find out what historic ocean-climate was? Turns out that there are all sorts of clever ways.
Ocean warming hotspots
Climate change doesn’t just mean that the global mean surface temperature is increasing. Because oceans absorb heat, they too increase their temperature. The upper layers are affected first, but as warming increases, lower and lower depths also increase in temperature.
